Roy Keane recently emerged as the star of the show as he toured stadiums with his Sky Sports colleagues Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher. The latest story of him has reportedly grabbed a lot of headlines. Premier League legends filmed his tour as part of The Overlap series, with former Ireland captain Keane’s account of a night out in Chicago with his Manchester United teammate going viral on social media. Keane further recalled and said they had a good night in pre-season with Man United in Chicago a night that was pretty crazy and hilarious. He also said that they took a couple of young players, that it was preseason and they were definitely in Chicago and he remembers that night with great value.
He went on to say that they woke up the next morning to his friend Denis waking him up and trying to get downstairs to catch the bus they were on. He remembered how he looked at his face, that it was all black and he couldn’t make out what happened and was in total shock after seeing himself completely black. He tried to put on his gear to get on the bus, but it was all coming back to him. As he sat in the back of the bus, he recalled that trip as they drove to the airport. He hilariously recalled the moment the press officer sent him a story about some men in the United players being at a strip club in Chicago.
He went on and said don’t worry they have evidence against him and he told his friends that he was the captain of the team and now everyone can rest. But after 5 minutes the phone rang and now those people had proof and at that point Keane freaked out and knew they must have taken his fingerprints which were obviously true. They also had their credit card and passport details. The investigation was carried out in depth and they noticed that there were headlines in some Irish newspapers saying something like ‘Desperate Devil’.
