The statement from the hospital side states that “Despite proper medical management, S Parkash Singh Badal succumbed to his illness. Fortis Hospital is deeply saddened by the passing of S Parkash Singh Badal.” Abhijeet Singh, the director of the hospital claims that Parkash Singh Badal was handed over at around 08:00 pm. He was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali a week ago after he complained of being unwell or short of breath.
