As a result, authorities routinely issue warnings against flower picking, making it commonplace. A user named ‘X’ recently encountered one of these warning signs, but it was anything but typical. In fact, he gave picking flowers a rather disturbing touch that will make you want to hide your smile.

A user with the handle @KismiBar posted an image of a warning sign hidden among a row of flowers on the microblogging platform. Please do not pick flowers…we are watching, read the sign. If you are caught picking flowers while smiling, you will be fined INR 500.

There have been many strange signs from Bengaluru.

But it seems Bengaluru likes these strange warning signs. A similar sign filled with rules was recently found in a park in Bengaluru. This notice, issued by Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), said that visitors to the park were not allowed to run or jog within the park limits.

When the third rule was seen: “Do not walk counterclockwise,” the sign seemed to be quite common. When used in parks and circular walkways, walking counterclockwise involves moving in the opposite direction to avoid obstructions and potential collisions. It seemed like the sign encouraged people to walk in a straight line.

The person who uploaded the image of this sign on Reddit captioned it: “Sign I found in a park today.” People soon started asking fun questions about the sign. Many people were interested in knowing what is meant by “walking counterclockwise” and why it is prohibited.

Bengaluru is certainly a city that likes to keep things ‘unique’, and these incidents are just another of the city’s quirks!
