In response to Ennock’s ‘Miss Albany’ painting, SA says ‘Rasta must not see this’

Artist Ennock Mlangeni’s painting of Lungisani Mjaji’s niece was nicknamed ‘Miss Albany’ after Rasta. By painting her, the artist allegedly ‘ruined’ the exquisite images of her.

Lungisani Mjaji, a commercial photographer and student at Tshwane University of Technology, shared photos and videos of Lethukukhanya carrying a loaf of Albany bread on social media this week.

Mlangeni shared her artwork of three-year-old Lethukukhanya Mjaji, nicknamed ‘Miss Albany’, who has captured the hearts of South Africans with images taken by her uncle Lungisani Mjaji.

It would be nice if that company would buy this painting and hang it in their offices as a reminder of who their products touch and keep the money in their educational fund/trust. Make sure he has everything he needs to get it done. It’s a small act of kindness.
