Indian Idol Telugu is a part of the original Indian Idol series. The first season of the Telugu version aired from February 25, 2022 to June 6, 2022. The first season was hosted by Sreerama Chandra and the judges for the first season were Nithya Menen, Karthik and Thaman S. Although Karthik The first season faced a lot of criticism as he was accused of being involved in MeToo, he is still a judge in the second season. The winner of the first season was BVK Vagdevi, and the runners-up were Srinivas Darimisetty and Vaishnavi Kovvuri in second and third position respectively.

Indian Idol Telugu Season 2 aired recently and fans have already started watching the show. The first season of the reality show, consisting of 31 episodes over a span of approximately 4 months.
