The crowd at the MCG, for the 23rd Big Bash League (BBL) match between Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades, experienced something surreal. The TV host and other viewers were left baffled when a man knelt before his girlfriend in the middle of the interview and asked for her hand in marriage.
Given his support for different teams, the presenter expected a completely different outcome of the conversation. But to his surprise, he asked the question after kneeling down, leaving the host with a smile on his face.

In the clip, the interviewer asks the man which team he supports. He shares that his partner is a “big” Melbourne Renegades supporter and that he is a Melbourne Stars fan.
He suddenly turns to his girlfriend as he continues talking, gets down on one knee and pops the question. The woman, who is amazed, just smiles and finally nods her head. Later, her boyfriend plants a kiss on her forehead.
