Reason for cancellation of ISRO VSSC exam
Hundreds of eligible applicants appeared for the written examination for the above posts. The exam was scheduled to be held at different test centers in Thiruvananthapuram. At two different exam centers, police caught two men posing as people and cheating on the exam. Both men are residents of Haryana.
These two men posing as men were identified as Goutham Chouhan and Manoj Kumar. The police suspect that a training center in Haryana is behind this negligence. The impersonators reportedly used button cameras, wireless headphones and mobile phones as a means to cheat in the ISRO VSSC written exam.
Both the suspects, Manoj and Goutham, not only posed as Sumeeth and Sunil, respectively, but also cheated in the exam. Although they failed to carry out their malpractice and were caught red-handed by the authorities. Although both malpractices are from Haryana, they gave exams in different test centres.
Local authorities believe that both impersonators are part of the same group, indicating their involvement in cheating and impersonations. Furthermore, it is believed that both used the same method and tools to cheat on the exam. However, many still wonder how they get past security staff at exam centers while posing as people and bringing cheating devices.
Testing centers affected by ISRO VSSC exam
The examination of various applicants was conducted at 10 different test centers in Thiruvananthapuram. Of these 10 testing centres, 2 were affected when authorities found two men from Haryana posing as people and cheating. The authorities have filed a case in several sections.
Although only two testing centers were affected by this malpractice, the entire exam was cancelled. All examinees, not just those at the affected centers, must retake the exam. This impersonation and cheating attempt has caused problems to all the examinees who studied hard for this important ISRO VSSC 2023 exam.

To cheat, they both used the same gadgets and methods. First, they somehow managed to get into the exam room and past the security personnel. They made them believe they were real candidates. After entering the exam hall, they used their devices to cheat in the exam. They used a button camera to scan the questions asked in the ISRO VSSC 2023 exam.
After scanning the questions, they sent them to another person/group using their mobile phones, which they hid and took inside the exam center. They received the correct answers wirelessly via Bluetooth.
ISRO VSSC Exam Reschedule
Authorities are currently investigating these copycats. Although the impersonators were caught, the VSSC quashed the entire exam. However, examinees should be patient as VSSC is likely to announce the new exam date very soon. However, it is highly unlikely that the new exam date will be rescheduled in the same month as the cancellation.
Applicants should periodically visit the authorized web portal of VSSC to receive new news and updates regarding ISRO VSSC exam 2023.
