It’s worth a try! One Man’s Trick To Get Rs 400 Starbucks Coffee For Rs 190 Has The Internet Amazed

You know you’ve made it in life when you can sit in a Starbucks for hours, drain your bank account for coffee orders, and not feel any regrets. While drinking coffee isn’t always that big of a deal in India, buying it from a Starbucks outlet certainly adds an air of royalty to the ritual.

In all the major cities of India, Starbucks has expanded its network. So when a guy in Faridabad had a need for a Starbucks coffee, he hired a first grader to save some money.

Sandeep Mall, a fitness coach and entrepreneur, came up with the latest loophole to beat his hefty coffee bills at Starbucks. He shared how he got a 400 rupee cup of coffee sold in the shop for only 190 rupees with his jugaadu brain.

Wondering how he did it? Well, his way of getting the best deal was a clever but simple trick. Mall, while sitting inside a Starbucks near him, ordered the drink he wanted on the Zomato food delivery app and got a discount, lowering the cost of his original order by a few hundred dollars. In addition to getting your desired coffee order for much less than what’s sold at retail outlets, Mall also got the drink delivered right to the app.

He explained his master plans in a tweet: “Sitting at Starbucks: coffee for 400. Zomato offer for the same coffee 190. Ordered Zomato with Starbucks address. Zomato guy picks up and takes me to my table at Starbucks. ये वाला business अपनी अक्ल से completely off course है।”

Mall even posted a screenshot of his request to prove to the Twitter public that he was, in fact, telling the truth and not just bragging. She wrote: “For all those who think this tweet is a fabrication or a story: Mentos khao dimag ki ghanti bajao.”

People praised the man for his dedication to being a miser. His little tweet got over a million views as people came together to weigh in on the man’s genius. A user asked him, “The man gets a 400 rs Starbucks coffee for 190 rs.” To which Mall responded, “He knew people were doing this.”

One user shared his experience of doing something similar: “I used to do the same thing with a few restaurants in Mumbai. In fact, there was a small egg themed restaurant in Lower parel that we were very loyal to. He used to call us Sir Swiggy and Zomato ve order karo, acchi treatment Milegi”.
