He is originally from Queens, New York and currently lives in Tampa, Florida.
Biography
Jeremy Rosado was born on March 24, 1992 in Queens, New York, into a large Puerto Rican family. He graduated from Durant High School in 2010 and went to Hillsborough Community College. He worked as a receptionist in an infectious diseases doctor’s office. Jeremy began his career by singing at neighborhood parties. He also participated in the church and school choir. He became a worship leader and began to gain traction in the local music scene.
In 2012, Jeremy rose to fame overnight by participating as a contestant on the popular television show American Idol (season 11) premiering on Fox. He failed to make the long run and was eliminated on March 8. He is the first man and the fourth wild card finalist to be the first to be eliminated in the finals.
At age 21, Jeremy had the opportunity to perform as an opening act for Andrea Bocelli in Germany and finally felt his career take off. However, that same year he made the most important decision of her life and decided to take care of her niece, since he was the best one to take care of her. Jeremy spent the next seven years focused solely on being a father, but now his daughter has graduated and he is ready to return to music. In 2021, he was seen performing on The Voice stage opposite Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend.
