Kate Middleton was branded out of touch for wearing an expensive silk shirt while pleading with Brits to donate to children in need.

The blouse, which is no longer available for purchase, reportedly sold for £315, or approximately $400. according to a fan.
Similar styles range from $225 to $400.
The future Queen of England, who married into a family estimated to be worth around $30 billion, was asked to open the fundraiser.
“Tonight is about helping to support, champion and empower all children to be the best they can be, which is crucial for their future health and happiness,” the Princess of Wales said in the clip. “It is vital that we look after early childhood and that is why the type of projects supported by Children in Need are so important.”

Another pointed out the number of homes she and her husband, Prince William, own. writing in x: “@BBC So, Kate Middleton, who owns several homes, appeared on #ChildrenInNeed and last year raised around £20 million. Or £354 million less than we gave the royals to build Buckingham Palace. Hypocrisy is [sickening].”
