This is expected to boost the country’s vital tourism sector, providing easy travel options for wildlife safaris and beach holidays. President William Ruto said “no one from anywhere in the world will have to worry about applying for a visa to visit Kenya.” In Malaysia, tourists from India and China will now be able to enter the country visa-free for 30 days. This new rule was imposed from December 1, 2022. Anwar Ibrahim, the prime minister, said the visa exemption was subject to strict security checks. “Initial checks will be carried out on all tourists and visitors entering Malaysia,” he said. “If there is a criminal record or risk of terrorism, we will not allow them to enter.”
