Ketki began her acting career with the film Kissi Se Na Kehna as Shyamoli in 1983. In 1990, she appeared in the film Dil as Ketki Dave. She appeared in two films in 1999, Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet as Shalini and Mann as Madhu. The year 2000 became a turning point in her career, she played one of the important characters of Daksha Virani in Ekta Kapoor’s TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
