A Nevada rapper has been arrested on murder charges after implicating himself in a music video by sharing details of the crime that only a killer could have known, police said.
Kenjuan McDaniel, 25, was taken into custody on Aug. 29 after police said lyrics from one of his recently released music videos included details about a 2021 murder that had not been made public, Las Metropolitan Police said. Vegas.

“The facts collected during the investigation were obtained separately from the music video,” police said.
“The music video further validated the research results.”

“Detectives noted that the music video had a sufficient level of similarity to the details of the murder,” the warrant read. “This includes the fact that Kenjuan confessed to the murder in his handwriting.”
“The details provided by Kenjuan in his music video were not made public and would not be public knowledge.”
McDaniels appeared in court on Thursday.
