This Labor Day weekend, Biden plans to once again stand 10 feet tall at his Rehoboth Beach summer home, after a brief trip to Florida to view the remnants of Hurricane Idalia.

As the 80-year-old president’s public stumbles become more frequent, with 77% of Americans saying he is too old to be re-elected and a new book reporting that he admits to feeling “tired,” some critics point to Biden’s age as the reason for their excessive R&R.

“At a time when so many families are having to cut vacation time due to inflation, Biden is taking nearly 12 days of vacation a month, more than triple what Obama took,” Griffith said.
Meanwhile, Biden’s activities during his days away remain almost completely shielded from public view.
The rotating White House press group often goes days without even catching a glimpse of the president when he’s out of the capital, and his administration has refused to release visitor logs covering his extensive time away from the White House.

In May, the Secret Service flatly rejected the Post’s Freedom of Information Act request to send emails identifying Biden’s free visitors, data that the House Oversight Committee also requested.
“With the amount of time this president spends away from the White House, visitor logs should be made public at all Joe Biden residences,” said committee chairman James Comer (R-Ky.). “Americans deserve the transparency the Biden administration promised them. “All they get is obstruction.”
Griffith said: “Just out of respect for the American people, it should show us who will be there, especially considering their track record.
