Lying New York Rep. George Santos touts expected expulsion from Congress as a ‘badge of honor’ and criticizes colleagues who ‘screw’ lobbyists

Disgraced Rep. George Santos admitted he hopes his colleagues will expel him from Congress next week and criticized bad behavior he claims he witnessed from other politicians on Capitol Hill.

“I have colleagues who are more worried about getting drunk every night with the next lobbyist they’re going to screw over and pretending that none of us know what’s going on, and selling out the American people, not showing up to vote because they’re too hungover or whatever.” the reason, or not showing up to vote and simply handing over their card like candy so that someone else can vote for them,” Santos thundered. in a long interview in X Space Friday afternoon.

Santos faces federal fraud charges and has publicly admitted to fabricating much of his personal and professional story.

Last week, the bipartisan House Ethics Committee released a damning ethics report revealing how the congressman spent campaign money on Botox, Onlyfans, and other personal expenses.

Its chairman, Rep. Michael Guest (R-Miss.), later introduced a privileged resolution to expel Santos from the chamber after his committee.

A vote on the measure is expected after Thanksgiving weekend.

Santos did not respond to The Post’s requests for comment.
