Marcos Covos: The Texas native on season 23 of The Voice

Marcos Covos is an immensely talented musician, singer, songwriter, and photographer hailing from Odessa, Texas. His experience in photography has made him noticeably better known than his singing abilities.

He has gained recognition for appearing on NBC’s popular reality singing show The Voice Season 23, hosted by Carson Daly and led by stars Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, Blake Shelton and Chance the Rapper.

Birth and early life

Marcos Covos was born in Odessa, Texas and currently resides in Dallas, Texas. Although he keeps his life private and does not reveal the identities of his parents or siblings, he likes to live a life of quiet anonymity.


Marcos is a passionate photographer, innovative creative director and creator of Marcos Covos Photography. He is also the founder of the notable Covos Haus, the lively Covos Magazine and the avant-garde Covos Haus Studio. Covos began his career as a photographer in 2015 covering These Celos.

After becoming captivated by photography, Covos ventured down a creative path and opened his own studio in 2016 in Odessa, Texas.

In 2023, Covos made her mark on NBC’s singing competition show, “The Voice,” hosted by the iconic Carson Daly. This show is packed with five rounds of exciting competition: blind auditions, battle rounds, eliminations, playoffs and live performances.

She performed Selena’s “Tú, Solo Tú” during The Voice’s blind auditions and earned two chair turns from Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton. She subsequently decided to join Team Kelly.
