As Wilson entered his teens, he picked up the guitar at age 12, but like many kids his age, he put it down again shortly after. But that all changed when he was 15, after watching a documentary about The Eagles, Walker was inspired to pick up the guitar again and began practicing for hours, mastering the skill of singing and playing simultaneously. When he was 19, Walker gave his first live concert as an acoustic opening act for one of his friends’ local bands.
