Meghan Markle could soon return to the screen with high hopes after starting talks with some “big name directors and producers”, according to a report.
The Duchess of Sussex, whose first uncredited acting role in “Married… with Children” recently resurfaced on social media, is reportedly looking to continue building her acting portfolio with some major projects.
“Suits is so successful in reruns that Meghan has been told fans are demanding to see her perform again,” a source told Life & Style magazine.
“She is excited. While she would love to land a new TV role, Meghan really wants to sink her teeth into a dramatic role in film. She thinks an Oscar would be in her future.”
The exiled royal, whose most notable (and last) role of her career was as paralegal Rachel Zane on the hit show “Suits,” signed on in April with WME CEO Ari Emanuel and his team.

And while she hasn’t dove into any acting roles yet, the outlet reports that she’s being inundated with offers.
“She had received a ton of offers over the last five years but turned them down because she was really trying to embrace real life and later forge a new path behind the scenes in Hollywood with Harry,” a source told the outlet. .
“But now all that has changed. While other opportunities dry up, she is actively seeking roles and speaking with some big-name directors and producers. Harry supports all of this 100 percent. Acting is what Meghan knows and what she has always loved.”

What’s more, a source claims the mother-of-two believes she would be a key asset to any on-screen project.
“She says he would be a good actor. But Harry thinks he’d be ridiculed for it, so it’s unlikely he’ll co-star with Meghan. You never know what the future holds though. Maybe I will one day.”
The Post has contacted Markle’s representatives for comment.

Since signing on earlier this year, Markle has reportedly been “in the middle” of meetings with Emanuel about a return to acting.
Their day-to-day team will be Serena Williams’ agent Jill Smoller and Brad Slater, a giant in the movie business, who represents Dwayne Johnson, Page Six previously reported.
An industry insider familiar with the WME deal added: “This is definitely not a return to acting, Meghan is exceptionally ambitious. Her deal is for her for film and television production, brand partnerships and endorsements.”

“Both Meghan and Harry have said they want targeted deals for their charities, but she’s looking at big Hollywood projects,” a source added.
WME represents the best talent in the industry, including writers, filmmakers, actors, producers, stylists, fashion designers, and their agents.
The company also handles brand licensing, conferences, media production, and events, including New York Fashion Week.
