According to the video, the adult man attacked a flight attendant and caused a big scene. A video of him throwing a tantrum over a crying baby on board the plane went viral earlier this year.
Hundreds of thousands of people watched the video on TikTok, titled “Belligerant passenger causes diversion.”
The enraged man, whose name does not appear in the video, was heard becoming angrier and then yelling at airline employees. They then told the distraught man that he was screaming and he said: “So is the baby.” Meanwhile, her embarrassed seatmate covered her face with her hand.

“That child has been crying for forty minutes,” he is heard saying in the video recorded by a fellow traveler. “Please calm the child. He was sleeping and wearing headphones.
He yells, “Did that son of a bitch pay more for yelling?” in response to one of the attendees pointing out that there is a difference between a grown man who screams and a baby who cries. Screw you and stop talking.
“Can you keep that voice down?” he asks in response to being asked to lower his voice. .. “Fuck, shut up, little girl. It offends me, fuck that kid.”
While some expressed sympathy for the man’s plight and acknowledged that they, too, would have found it upsetting for a baby to cry for forty-five minutes, a much larger number of people stressed that babies, even screaming ones, have a right to be in public places and that the man was equally responsible for creating a commotion.

At the end of the video, the man discussed his case with police and airline employees inside the airport before officers took him away. It is unclear whether the airline or police filed any charges against the man.
“We have no details about this flight to share, but we commend our flight crew for their professionalism and offer our apologies to the other customers on board,” a Southwest Airlines representative said in a statement provided to Today.
