In the video shared on the TikTok account @redwickbuky, the young man is seen explaining to his girlfriend that the bill amounts to 160 pesos (L219) plus the tip for the tacos they consumed at a restaurant in Morelia, Mexico. The woman, visibly uncomfortable, refuses to pay, arguing that men should cover the costs on a date.
“Men always pay, and you always pay, so why should I pay? You’re a man, you pay,” the woman says.

The boyfriend, surprised by his partner’s response, asks if he will pay, since he has no money. Despite having cash, the woman refuses to fork over the money and finally decides to go annoyingly to her house.
