The process to apply for a genuine claim is a completely online process. Applicants (depositors) are requested to read all instructions and guidelines established by the Ministry of Cooperation. This ensures that the depositor meets all eligibility requirements to claim the refund. Now that depositors have ensured that they are eligible to claim the refund amount, they can proceed to register on the Sahara Refund Portal. - Enter your membership number (12 digits) and Aadhaar linked mobile number.
- Submit the captcha and press “Get OTP”.
- Check the OTP received by submitting it.
- Registration will end after OTP verification.

After completion of Sahara Refund Portal registrations, registered depositors can login. To sign in, follow these steps:
- Visit mocrefund.crcs.gov.in (Sahara Refund Portal).
- On the login page, enter the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar number and mobile number (10 digits).
- Click on Get OTP.
- Check the OTP received on the Aadhaar linked mobile number.
- Depositors need to complete 6 processes after login.
- UIDAI Declaration: Read and accept the Depositor’s Consent.
- Personal Details: Enter your Aadhaar number, click on Get OTP and verify it. Personal details will be obtained from the entered Aadhaar.
- Claim Details: Select Society Name, Enter Membership Number, Account Number, Receipt Number, Passbook Number, Account Opening Date and Upload Certificate of Deposit. Click Add Claim after entering these details.
- Generate Forms: Download the claim form and attach a photo (sign).
- Upload Documents: Upload the claim application and Copy of PAN Card.
- Acknowledgment and Receipt: A message containing the claim date and acknowledgment number will be generated.
- Please allow 45 days for processing.
