More than a university student? Taquero reveals his exorbitant monthly salary

A taquero went viral on social networks after he confessed to earning up to 70 thousand Mexican pesos a month with his taco stand.

This would be equal to 97,501.88 lempiras, at the exchange rate this Wednesday, something that undoubtedly left more than one Internet user with their mouths open, especially because of the statement he made: ‘I earn more than a university student, old man.’

In an interview with content creator Icefire, the taquero, who did not give his name, said that although he only studied until second grade, he started a taco stand.

Even though he ‘gets burned’ preparing food, he has no regrets about managing to earn up to 70 thousand pesos a month, that is, approximately 17,500 pesos a week.

“Being a taquero I earn 70 thousand pesos a month, I earn more than a university student, I take my burns, but I take my wool,” he expressed.

Likewise, he secured a job as a taquero, although it is hard, it is usually well rewarded, since a person who is dedicated to preparing this type of food can earn, at least, 25 thousand pesos a month.

“So a fucker earns about 25,000 or 30,000 pesos, any taquerito, but it’s going well for me,” he said.

The video went viral, opening the debate between people who did not believe it was true and others who confirmed that a taquero can earn this amount and even more.

“Take away the rent, gas, meat, tortillas and vegetables from that”, “Maybe they are net and there they deduct salaries, services, raw materials and annexes, they come out to around 15 a month”, “For 70 a month it’s not bad at all, but They always want to emphasize that they earn more than those who studied,” said Internet users.
