Motivational words from a mother to her daughter who failed the math test are a master class in parenting

Many of us faced the challenge of having our parents sign our answer sheets during childhood, particularly when our grades weren’t quite up to scratch. Recently, a woman shared her experience on X (formerly known as Twitter), where she posted pictures of her school’s answer sheets.

What stood out was her mother’s thoughtful act of writing words of encouragement on each sheet, even though her math scores weren’t high.

Zaynab added: “I kept studying math and even started enjoying it up to A levels. I got good grades too! This is the result when you refrain from shaming your child for failing.”

One user commented: “This is beautiful.” The second user commented, “This is so cute.” The third user shared: “This made me sad and happy at the same time.” A fourth user wrote: “Your mom is a gem.” Another user wrote: “Your mom is so cute.”

In a similar incident, a mother shared poems written by her fourth grade son.

Using the username Grubreport, he posted three poems with the caption: “A fourth grader wrote this during distance learning two years ago.”

She uploaded photos of her son’s poems in a Twitter thread.

In one of the poems, the boy wrote: “I think I had an idea for a poem, but now it has slipped out of my head and is wandering around the house.”

In the second poem, he dedicated an ode to his mother on Mother’s Day, saying: “You are beautiful like a rose on a thorny stem. Because sometimes you get angry.”
