Naked man seen fighting with Las Vegas cop before fleeing with patrol car and crashing

A naked man got into a fight with a Las Vegas police officer in the middle of a busy street before stealing the cop’s patrol car and crashing, leaving two people seriously injured.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a naked man possibly experiencing a mental health crisis on the street near Blue Diamond Road and Buffalo Drive around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Video shot by a nearby driver obtained by KLAS shows an LVMPD officer fighting with the naked man, later identified as 29-year-old Clyde Cabulisan, in the middle of an intersection.

The two can be seen fighting and at one point Cabulisan knocks off the officer’s hat and forces him to the ground.

The suspect then jumps into the marked Ford F-150 and accelerates with the lights still on, the video shows.

“You have a police officer and a naked guy. I thought they were going to handcuff him and throw him to the ground,” Kyle Even, who filmed the altercation, told KLAS.

He said he was glad the officer wasn’t hit.

After stealing the police vehicle, Cabulisan headed north on Rainbow and led police on a chase of more than five miles, according to police.

He then crossed the meridian, drove into oncoming traffic and ran a red light at Hacienda Avenue, crashing into the passenger side of a Ford Explorer.
