Neri Sánchez video, Mexican girl delivered to Santa Muerte becomes a trend on TikTok

Learn about the trending video of the story of Neri Sánchez de los Santos, who is a 7-year-old girl who was handed over to Santa Muerte by her parents.

A new video takes over social networks, such as; the alleged case of Neri Sánchez, a Mexican girl who was offered to Santa Muerte as an offering, generating different comments on Tiktok.

The video of Sánchez’s story was published by the user @glucosaelevada, where he mentions the following; “My parents simulated my disappearance and offered me to Holy Death, I am Neri Sánchez de los Santos, 7 years old, from Puebla, Mexico.”

“I lived with my parents and my three half-siblings, I was the youngest of all, my neighbors refer to my family as strange and reserved people, I supposedly disappeared in the catrina parade, in the Zócalo on November 1st,” explains the video.

According to the story, Neri’s mother indicated that her daughter was lost in the parade, and that the minor was wearing a Luke Skywalker costume. That same day, the lady announced that her daughter was missing in the WhatsApp statuses.

“The authorities tried to communicate with my mother, through direct messages to her WhatsApp number, but they were being ignored by my mother, at approximately 10 at night, she answers and goes out to look for me in the area,” says the Tiktok.

Likewise, the story assures that the authorities contacted Neri’s mother, however, the police noticed the disinterest of the minor’s family, therefore, the parents began to be the main suspects in the investigation.

In the same way, the story continues, since around Neri’s case there are many inconsistencies, testimonies and security cameras that affirm that the minor was stripped of her life by her parents.

Is the video of Neri Sánchez’s story real?

The case of Neli Sánchez de los Santos is real, as confirmed by international media, since on November 1, 2023 in San Martín Texmelucan, Mexico, it was reported that the minor had disappeared in a catrina parade.

However, the inconsistency of the case led the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Puebla to arrest Neri’s parents (named Yari and Ulises Manuel) after it was proven that both lied in their statements and hid the whereabouts of their daughter.

Likewise, Neri’s brothers stated that they had not seen their sister for three months. Also, the authorities raided the parents’ house and found an altar of Santa Muerte with a note asking for help.

Currently, the parents are detained by the authorities and the brothers were taken to the DIF, waiting for the case to be clarified.
