An elite unit of Israeli agents has reportedly been formed to hunt down all Hamas terrorists involved in the heinous October 7 sneak attack on the Jewish state.
Specially selected members of the Shin Bet, Israel’s version of the FBI, will operate independently of other units that target high-ranking terrorists, the Jerusalem Post said.
The new unit will specifically target members of Hamas’ special commando group called Nukhba, which is believed to have carried out the attack that massacred hundreds of innocent Israelis along the country’s border with the Gaza Strip.
The unit is named after the World War I Jewish underground organization “Nili,” a Hebrew acronym for “Israel’s Lord will not lie,” the Times of Israel said.
The Shin Bet and the Israel Defense Forces were reprimanded after the massacre for being taken by surprise.

The new Shin Bet unit will use intelligence and agents on the ground to hunt down the approximately 2,500 terrorists involved in the attack.
The Israel Defense Forces have already announced the deaths of several Nukhba operatives, including Billal al-Qedra, head of the terrorist group’s Khan Younis battalion, and commander Ali Qadhi.
Last week, the Israeli military reported that it had killed 10 Nukhba militants during operations in the Gaza Strip.
