Warhammer fans have been super excited since hearing about the releases of the new Tyranid models. The 9 new Warhammer Tyranids units were unveiled on Saturday, which means they are now available to purchase. These new models have been released by Games Workshop. The British manufacturer of miniature wargames has introduced 9 new units to the Warhammer 40k Tyranids range, including Termagants, Genestealers, updated Hormagaunts, and the new Norn Assimilator and Norn Emissary. The company revealed the additions to the Warhammer 40k faction at the time of the “Battle for Oghram” live stream last weekend.
New Tyranid Models
The firm also announced that the Tyranids Codex will be the first to be issued in this edition. Space species get a lot of new models in the Leviathan drop box for Warhammer 40k 10th edition. Other than that, they already had one of the largest Xenos ranges. These new models are just the modern standard of their previous kits which include some wonderful new minis. The new Warhammer 40k Tyranid models that were released on Saturday 15th July are:

- Norn Absorber
- Genestealers
- Hormagaunts
- Multipart Termagants
- lictors
- neuroliquor
- biovore
- Pyrovore
- vanguard force
Other than that, Eddie Eccles, the Warcom manager, shared a hint that a new 40k Detachment will appear in the Tyranids Warhammer 40k Codex. According to the manager, the force is restricted to “vanguard” organisms such as Genestealers, Von Ryan’s Leapers, and Lictors led by the special character named “Deathleaper”. These new models became known because their force emerged victorious in the “Battle for Oghram” community engagement campaign, winning 54% of the 44,000 fights that fans registered with the company. The WarCom manager claims that the campaign was very close until the last few days.
Additionally, the company revealed that there were more Tyranid “medium bugs” which included Pyrovore, Lictors, and Biovores. We have even more models coming from the company. Von Ryan’s Leapers and Deathleaper were just a sneak peek. There are new Tyranid in the lineup which includes New Tyranid Lictors, new Neurolictor, Deathleaper, Biovore, and Pyrovore.
