Anna Sacks, who goes by the name ‘trash walker’ on TikTok, took to the platform once again to show people how Starbucks still does it. A former investment banker turned waste reduction consultant, Sacks filmed a New York Starbucks outlet dumping its perfectly intact packaged food in large black trash bags on the street.

Sacks filmed a closed company outlet and alleged that it used to be a Starbucks on New York’s upper west side. In the clip, she jokes about her “spider-tingling senses,” so she checked out the place, and lo and behold, she found bags of food lying on the street.
The TikToker rummaged through the food and noted that the packaged frozen bits were still cold, hinting that the establishment had recently brought them out. Even the expiration dates stamped on the frozen food indicated that the food was safe to eat in October 2023, and could still be eaten for months to come.
