Nick Rolovich: Wiki, Biography, Age, Family, Career, Height, Weight, Net Worth, Siblings, Birthday, Wife, School, Hometown: Nicholas Robert Rolovich (born February 16, 1979) is a former player and coach of American football who most recently served as head coach at Washington State University (WSU). Rolovich studied economics at the University of Hawaii and then attended New Mexico Highlands University to earn his master’s degree. He was a quarterback for the Las Vegas Gladiators of the Arena Football League. Rolovich’s job at WSU was terminated in October 2021 after he refused to comply with Washington’s mandate that state workers be vaccinated against COVID-19. Rolovich was born and raised in Novato, California. He was a varsity football and baseball player at Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, California. He won two league championships with his football clubs.
Nick Rolovich’s career
After an excellent minicamp, Nick Rolovich signed with the Denver Broncos on May 18, 2002. The following season, he returned to the organization before being sent to the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe. Rolovich led the Fire to World Bowl XI in 2003, completing 87 of 149 pitches. In their 35-16 loss against the Frankfurt Galaxy last game, he completed 14 of 19 passes for 164 yards and a score. Rolovich was Mark Grieb’s backup quarterback with the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League in 2004 and 2005. He became the first San Jose quarterback since Grieb in 2002 to throw a pass in a game. On October 31, 2006, Rolovich signed with the Arizona Rattlers. In 2006, Rolovich was waived by both the Chicago Rush and the Arizona Rattlers (after injuring his shoulder in a non-contact practice against Las Vegas on January 16, 2006, he was waived a week later). The Las Vegas Gladiators signed Rolovich on April 10, 2007.

Nick Rolovich spent two years as a letterman at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he led the team to an 8-1 record after replacing starter and future NCAA all-time passing leader Timmy Chang in early the 2001 season. Rolovich threw for 3,361 yards and 34 touchdowns on 233 of 405 passing in those nine games. He had three consecutive 500-yard passing games to conclude his college career. In a 72-45 victory over BYU on December 8, 2001, he also set single-game school records with 8 touchdowns and 543 passing yards. With such numbers, he finished eighth in the US in passing efficiency (105.5), breaking 19 school passing records and eight total offense marks. Rolovich was a current or former college All-American at City College of San Francisco (1998-1999), where he helped the Rams win the national title in 1999.
