A 2-year-old Ohio boy drowned in a neighbor’s pool after leaving his house while his mother was sleeping and his father was at work, authorities said.
Toddler Marcus Hall was found Wednesday at the bottom of a nearby above-ground pool by local police after the boy’s desperate mother couldn’t find him, WTVG reported.
The girl, nicknamed Mar Mar, was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Anthony Hall, Marcus’ devastated father, told the station that the 2-year-old and his 4-year-old brother were at home in Oregon City in the Buckeye State with their sleeping mother when both boys left the house. .
A neighbor called 911 around 10:30 a.m. to report that a baby in diapers was chasing a dog without an adult nearby, according to dispatch audio obtained by the outlet.
