The Missouri high school teacher who was placed on leave last week after being exposed as an Onlyfans artist wants to return to the classroom, despite admitting that some of her students may have seen her X-rated content.
Megan Gaither, 31, was the second educator suspended from St. Clair High School in a matter of weeks for running an Onlyfans page.
The English teacher and varsity cheerleading coach said she was placed on leave after other faculty members told the media she had sex on camera with her “best friend” and former coworker, Brianna. Coppage.
Coppage, 28, was suspended from St. Clair High School last month after administrators discovered she and her husband were creating adult content on the subscription porn site.
“There is nothing in our contract other than being a role model that I have violated, so I let them do their investigation, I have the teachers union involved. So I’m just waiting to see the results of the investigation, to see what they’re thinking,” Gaither told the Post on Monday.
“It would be strange, right?” he added of re-teaching children, who have probably seen his risqué content.
“But I also know the level of relationship I have with my students and the respect I already have.”

Coppage, who also taught English, stepped down from her role as an educator following her suspension and claims she has made $1 million on Onlyfans in the month since she left.
Gaither, however, has every intention of returning to the classroom.
“They deserve a qualified teacher and the reality is that they don’t have one. Technically they don’t have two anymore,” he said, referring to Coppage.
Coppage agrees that they did not violate their contract, but decided that it would be too difficult for her to return to teaching high school kids given the content on her channel, which features everything from solo sexual acts to full-on sexual intercourse.
“I felt like, after the adults were putting our stuff out for the kids to see, I just didn’t feel like it would be appropriate to go back into the classroom and be able to do my job effectively after the students had possibly seen something like this.” . she told The Post.

“A lot of people say ‘well, this is against the contract they signed and teachers have a morality clause,’ and we don’t. We don’t have a morality clause; “I didn’t sign a contract saying I wouldn’t do something like this.”
The two married women’s journeys into the world of adult content began in the spring, unbeknownst to the other, to supplement their meager teaching salaries.
“Brianna and I had no idea the other was doing it, it wasn’t something we started together,” Gaither explained.
Coppage’s motivation for supporting everything online was “60% financial,” he said, as he sought to supplement his $42,000 salary.

“As we know, Missouri is one of the lowest paying states in the United States for teachers and the St. Clair School District is one of the lowest paying districts, in our immediate area.”
In just a few weeks, Coppage said he earned 25 times his previous annual income and flew to New York and Los Angeles to appear on television to promote the X-rated work he enjoys.
“It was never intended for students to see, they shouldn’t be seeing it, and since adults are still posting both mine and Megan’s stuff on the local Facebook group for kids to see, which is not appropriate,” he said Coppage.

Gaither also started her page, which she says is more basic, in the spring after facing $125,000 in loan payments for her two master’s degrees.
As an honors English teacher and cheerleading coach, she earns $47,500. As of last Friday she had earned almost a quarter of that salary.
“It was something we did and because we were very close friends, we were like in a baseball game, I don’t know how it really came about, we just looked at each other and said, ‘you’re doing it.’ Isn’t that right?’” Gaither recounted.
Once the cat was out of the bag, the two teamed up for some girl-on-girl action on the Coppage channel, following their brush with infamy.
Gaither said she knew the scene was risky for her career, but said she didn’t think she would be recognized because she was being filmed “completely from behind.”
“I didn’t get any financial benefit from it, I just did it because we were having fun and I wanted to,” he said.
Gaither was discovered after someone posted a photo of her at a party wearing the outfit she was wearing in her sex scene.

“In a small town like St. Clair, speculation is all you need to get crucified,” Gaither said of the small town 50 miles southwest of St. Louis.
She said many in her hometown of less than 5,000 people had “shamed” her long before, just for wearing makeup to school and sports clothes to liven up training.
“I’m a woman and some people in the community don’t like me, I’ve known that for three years. “I’ve been shamed, I’ve been excluded at work, I’ve had essentially no support, especially last week, which was the hardest week of my life,” Gaither said.
The English teacher said her “passion” for education dates back to her schoolgirl days, when she would return home and present the day’s lesson on a blackboard to her stuffed animals.
“I have always loved learning and reading,” Gaither said.
Coppage also shares his devotion to education, saying that “I definitely miss[es] my students and the moments I shared with them.”
Still, he admitted his teaching days are over.
The newly minted millionaire said she hoped to be in porn for another five years before launching her own business.
School district officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Gaither’s future job prospects on Monday.
But the X-rated educator has some advice for anyone who is quick to judge her.
“Mortality is a sliding scale, and just because you think something is immoral and goes against your code of conduct doesn’t mean it goes against other people’s code of conduct, and you impose on someone your ideals about how someone should behave and act. the rest is not correct,” Gaither said.
“People have the right to be individuals, and it’s okay if they have different beliefs and we don’t have to crucify them and shame them,” Coppage added.
