At 7:30 am, Chandy’s “Puthupally House” in Thiruvananthapuram started the journey of the KSRTC AC low-floor bus carrying the lifeless remains of the former PM. People waited for several hours at different intersections to pay their respects to their leader, despite the daytime heat and sporadic rain. Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Kottayam were the four districts through which the procession traveled.
