Kashaf Ali was asked to go wash the dishes in an Instagram ‘Ask Me Anything’. ”Bartan dho jaker,” the comment read.

Ali took an unusual approach during the live session, taking her phone into the kitchen and filming herself washing the dishes. When she was finished with the chore, she wondered why cleaning dishes is used as a pejorative term for women.

She goes on to say- “I did the dishes. Is this something that makes me tiny or something that makes me bigger? Or what occurred? Nothing. It’s all right. I completed the work. Why do you use this as a slur against women? Make use of your common sense. Who has the money to buy dishes for every meal? You’ll only have to wash them, Strange, do I have to explain everything?”

While the life of an influencer might seem appealing, the sad truth is that it comes with a range of challenges that extend far beyond the surface. Dealing with trolling, isolation, mental health struggles, and the pressure to maintain an image can make the journey a bittersweet experience.

It’s important for aspiring influencers to be aware of these realities and to prioritize their mental and emotional well-being above all else.
