Biography
Paris Winningham was born on August 4, 1984 in Richmond, Virginia. He was adopted when he was a baby and never met his biological parents, but he knows that his mother was a singer and his father was a guitarist. Paris began playing drums in church at age 7 and later began singing. At age 20 he entered the Navy where he served as a machinist’s mate and worked in the engine room. Through the Navy, he was able to travel and see the world and continued his music by performing at ceremonies on the ship and on base. In 2021, he had the opportunity to audition for season 21 of The Voice and was directly selected for the blind audition. He starred in Superstition opposite Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend.
