Well, it seems the CEO of Meta sensed the unease in the air and decided to once again spark interest in the future prospects of cage fighting by showing off his newly acquired blue belt. While Musk hasn’t said anything on the subject since his initial rallying cry for the fight, Zuckerberg seems to be gearing up for a show worth watching.
In his recent Instagram post, Zuckerberg posted a click posing alongside his trainer and friend, David Camarillo, trainer of MMA World Champ. He congratulated David on earning a fifth degree black belt and commemorated his own achievement in earning a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Previously, Italy offered The Colosseum to the two billionaires for their little fight. However, news from Dana White, the president of the UFC, suggests that the two could throw a punch in the ring. White seems pretty serious about the fight and apparently even has a date in mind.

As for Elon’s recent preparation for the multi-million dollar fight, he has reportedly been in contact with fighter and UFC legend Georges St-Pierre. Along with St-Pierre, Musk has also been training with St-Pierre’s grappling coach, John Danaher.
That being said, it looks like Musk could back out of the deal sooner or later. Not because of his apparent lack of fighting prowess, but because of his mother’s disapproval. Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, has spoken of her wishes not to let Musk participate in any of those fights.

Like any mother defending her son from a fight, Maye advised Musk to refrain from engaging in such fights and to stick to verbal communication. She even went so far as to respond to users who were instigating a fight on Twitter.
Although the Musk vs. Mark feud might not finish playing out, in his latest jab at the Tesla mogul, Zuckerberg launched his own version of Twitter and dubbed it “Threads.” While the initial hype about the app has cooled down a bit, it still seems like the two billionaires might be competing on more platforms than just a wrestling ring.
