Texas police released chilling images of a person of interest linked to the mysterious death of a 16-year-old Texas cheerleader who was found dead inside her apartment.
The unidentified man, who was wearing a black “Volcom” sweatshirt and had a distinctive tattoo behind his right ear, was photographed running, according to surveillance photos.
He was also seen driving a silver Ford Taurus, with model years ranging from 2010 to 2018.

“I lost it. She was my world, my everything. Everywhere, everything I do is for her,” her mother said.
The circumstances surrounding the teen’s death remain unclear.
“We understand that the community wants information about the case, however, we must keep the integrity of the investigation as our number one priority,” the department wrote in a Facebook post.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is assisting Edna police “in what investigators believe is a capital murder,” the department said earlier this week.

The distraught mother of the brilliant teenager said that upon finding her daughter in the bathtub, “she realized she was gone.”
“There were no drugs involved, there was nothing like that. My daughter was found in a way that no mother should find her daughter,” said her mother, Jacqueline.
“Words cannot explain what I felt at that moment when I found my daughter in the situation she was in. The only thing I can say is that I hope with all my heart that there is justice for my daughter.”

Edna is home to about 6,000 people and is about 100 miles southwest of Houston.
“We also understand that the community is concerned that the individual remains at large. “There are outside agencies in the area and working with Edna Pd to provide additional patrol,” the department wrote.
A vigil for Medina was held Saturday at the Jackson County Courthouse, and attendees dressed in white in memory of the slain cheerleader.
