Pickup Hits Corvette In Monster Truck-Style Accident That Somehow Ends Without Injuries

A sports car owner is lucky to have escaped unscathed after a massive pickup truck somehow landed on the roof of his Corvette in Colorado on Monday.

The freak accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at a desolate intersection in Thorton, a community just 18 miles north of Denver. the fire department said.

The photos show the black Chevrolet Silverado balanced on the roof of the bright orange sports car, with one of its front wheels smashed into the driver’s side window.

The scene was reminiscent of a monster truck stunt.

It appears that the two had headed straight for each other, but the truck managed to run over the Corvette instead of crashing into it.

First responders had to remove the right front wheel of the Silverado to free the driver of the Corvette from inside his car.

Fortunately, both drivers emerged from their vehicles unharmed.

Police are still stunned as to how the collision occurred, they told 9 News.
