Pilot accused of spying on woman on plane arrested for stalking again

An alleged serial stalker driver allegedly followed a woman from her car and was arrested for the third time in the last four months.

Michael Arnold, 65, is accused of driving slowly in a brown car behind a woman who had a protective order against her, stopping briefly and then driving away, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, NewsChannel 13 reported.

The latest incident took place on Jan. 12 at Fort Hardy Park in Schuylerville, New York, police said Thursday, but authorities did not say whether it was the same victim linked to previous charges.

He was charged with criminal contempt and stalking, both misdemeanors, and held without bail.

The retired merchant mariner was arrested three times in October after he allegedly flew his small single-engine plane over the home of Cassie Wilusz, 42, and took photographs of her property.

During authorities’ investigation, detectives discovered a fake Facebook account that Arnold allegedly used to harass and threaten Wilusz’s daughter.

He said he did not know Wilusz when he headed to Saratoga Municipal Court in October. “I don’t know her. She’s crazy,” she said at the time.

However, Wilusz, owner of Revolution Café in the small town of Schuylerville, shared videos that allegedly showed him circling her house in his plane and following her in his car.

He was arraigned on a long list of charges in October in Milton Municipal Court, Saratoga and Vermont Superior Courts because he used a Vermont airport, where he was first arrested on Oct. 3.

Despite the allegations, he was released on bail after each arrest in October.

This time, he was held in the Saratoga County Jail without bond.

Schuylerville Mayor Dan Carpenter told Fox News Digital in October that he was concerned about Arnold after he was indicted on a nine-count indictment over the alleged harassing messages.

“The community is concerned about his mental stability,” he said. “What is the next escalation? If he goes too far, is he willing to crash a plane into Cassie’s house? We live in a small residential area. “That won’t just affect Cassie.”

Wilusz told Fox News Digital in October that Arnold is a former cafe customer who has terrorized her and her family since she rejected his vulgar advances in November 2019.

Wilusz said he has been living a nightmare since Arnold emailed him photos of him posing with naked women. She told him that she had crossed the line.

That’s when he allegedly began his harassment campaign, flying over her house several times a week and following her in his car as she headed to work, walked her dog or took her daughter to school.
