Oregon State University warned students Tuesday that food delivery robots on its campus could carry explosives after a prankster set off a fake bomb threat.

San Francisco-based Starship Technologies, which makes the robots, said OSU sent a bomb threat over social media involving the campus robots.
“While the student later claimed it was a prank, Starship suspended the service,” the company said in a statement, adding that it would resume later in the day.

The student was arrested by the university’s Department of Public Safety.
School representatives said they would continue to investigate the validity of the bomb threat despite the student’s admission.
