Puru Chibber made his film debut in 2001 with Choo Lenge Akash as a child actor. He then also appeared in the film The Warrior, starring Irfan Khan in 2001. Puru acted in the romantic comedy film Band Baja Baaraat in 2010. He played the role of Mika, Ranveer Singh’s best friend in the film. He has appeared in several films like Meinu Ek Ladki Chaahiye, A Scandall and Bhoomi.
