Raghav Chadha, an Indian politician and member of the Aam Aadmi Party, has been elected as the youngest Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from Punjab, India. Furthermore, Raghav Chadha is also a practicing chartered accountant. He was earlier the vice-president of the Delhi Jal Board and the MLA of Rajendra Nagar assembly constituency in Delhi.
Birth and early life
Raghav Chadha was born on November 11, 1988 to Sunil and Alka Chadha in New Delhi, where he received his school education at Modern School, Barakhamba Road. He then graduated from Delhi University and studied Chartered Accountancy at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. After that, he went to the London School of Economics to take an EMBA certification course. During his early career, he worked with accounting firms Deloitte, Shyam Malpani and Grant Thornton.

Career
In 2011, Raghav Chadha joined the India Anti-Corruption Movement and later the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He was tasked with drafting the Delhi Lokpal Bill in 2012 and in 2015 he was appointed national treasurer of the AAP.
In 2019, he contested from the South Delhi parliamentary constituency in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and lost to Ramesh Bidhuri of the BJP. In 2020, he was appointed as AAP Punjab co-in-charge for the Punjab Legislative Assembly elections and was elected MLA from Rajendra Nagar in the 2020 Delhi Legislative Assembly elections.
On March 21, 2022, AAP nominated him for the post of Rajya Sabha member from Punjab and appointed him as a member of Parliament’s Standing Committee on Finance. He was also appointed as Chairman of the Advisory Panel by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
