Rajkumar Kohli was an Indian film director and producer who died on November 24, 2023 at the age of 93 due to a heart attack. Rajkumar was known for directing several popular films like Dulla Bhatti (1966), Lootera (1970), Nagin (1976), Jaani Dushman (1979), Naukar Biwi Ka (1983), Aulad Ke Dushman (1993) and many more. Biography
Rajkumar Kohli was born on September 14, 1930 in Lahore. Rajkumar started his career while first directing and producing the Punjabi film Dulla Bhatti in 1966. After that, he did many films. Some of his major hits include the 1976 snake thriller Nagin, the 1979 films Muqabla and Jaani Dushman and the 1988 murder mystery Bees Saal Baad.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Kohli directed several other popular films in genres such as action, drama and thriller, including Raaj Tilak (1984), Insaniyat Ke Dushman (1987) and Virodhi (1992). In total, Rajkumar Kohli has directed more than 15 Hindi films from the 1970s to the 1990s and even one in 2002: Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani, a remake of his previous film.
