Rakesh Sahoo was born in the city of Pattamundai in Odisha. He studied at Jaria Baladev High School and then went to Pattamundai College, Pattamundai, where he obtained his graduation degree.
During his studies, Rakesh joined a dance class called Desire Dance Studio, where he learned to dance from Som Patil. In 2023, Rakesh auditioned for Star Plus’ dance reality show Dance + Plus, where he was selected as a contestant. After that, he worked hard and gave many performances and now he is the top 4 finalist in 2024.
