She attended Sacred Heart Church in Chennai, MET Public School in Perumbavoor and Bhavnas Vidya Mandir in Elamakkara. She mentioned that her school days were the most comfortable in her life.

Career
José became part of the Cochin choir group when he was in ninth grade. His guru is Filmare nominated lyricist Santosh Varma. He got his first recording from his first film, Melevaryathe Malakhakkuttikal, when he was in class 12.
He continued to grow and performed his songs in the films Indriyam, The Judgment, Rapid Action Force, Dupe Dupe Dupe, Sravu, Kaaki Nakshatram and many more. Her debut in Tamil was with Chanakya. She later also worked in a Bollywood film Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.
José founded his five-member band “Eka” in November 2017. His five-member group performs music in genres such as Hindustani, Carnatic music, folk music, Indian pop and rock music.
