Republicans quickly attack Nikki Haley in the fourth debate

The Republican presidential hopefuls on stage wasted no time attacking Nikki Haley shortly after the fourth debate began.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spoke out against Nikki Haley, claiming she is not a strong fighter for Republicans.

“You have to be willing to stand your ground and beat these people,” DeSantis began.

“You have other candidates here like Nikki Haley. She gives in every time she comes left. [her].”

DeSantis cited transgender legislation in Florida that she described as restrictive of “gender mutilation of minors” and argued that she was critical of that legislation.

Haley then said DeSantis “continues to lie about my record” and explained that he previously criticized parental rights in education in Florida.

He highlighted that he previously said that the law “did not go far enough because it only talked about gender up to third grade.”

Shortly after that exchange, biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy weighed in and criticized Haley.

“After you left the UN,” he said, “actually… [joined] the board of directors of Boeing, whose back you scratched for a long time and then gave multinational speeches abroad, like Hillary Clinton.”

“I think this is much more corrupt than I imagined when I entered politics.”

Haley shrugged off that attack, explaining that she was proud of the work Boeing did, but that she left the board when they accepted a COVID-19 “bailout.”

“And in terms of these donors that support me, they’re just jealous, they wish they were supporting them,” Haley added of DeSantis and Ramaswamy to applause.

“The only person more fascist than the Biden regime now is Nikki Haley, who believes the government should identify every one of those individuals with an ID,” he said, referring to recent comments she made on social media.

“I love all the attention, guys,” Haley joked.

“What I said was that social media companies need to show us their algorithms. “I also said there are millions of bots on social media right now,” he continued, referring to foreign adversaries such as China, Russia and Hamas.

Then Florida’s governor endorsed Ramaswamy.

“He rolled up the tape and she said, ‘I want your name,’” DeSantis interjected.

“She took a very serious blow and it’s understandable because it would be a massive expansion of the government.”

Haley has surged in the polls in key early states and her campaign has claimed it has momentum with about six weeks left before the Iowa caucuses.
