While other 16-year-olds are still making their way through the high school corridors, Gujarat’s youngest engineering graduate, Nirbhay Thacker, stands out.

What is your trip?

When Nirbhay began his accelerated education in eighth grade, he showed great potential.

He completed the curriculum for grades eight through ten in six months and grades eleven through twelve in just three months.

He received his studies under the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) program run by Cambridge International Examinations.

Nirbhay’s rise to prominence persisted. She had already obtained her Secondary School Certificate (HSC) at the age of 13.

He became the youngest engineer in Gujarat at the age of 15, demonstrating his unmatched commitment and intelligence.

His rise continued at a rapid pace. Nirbhay decided to enroll in the four-year B.Tech. degree.

He finished it in October, after an incredible one-year period.

In 2018, he was awarded the engineering degree by the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) at the age of fifteen.

Nirbhay has an insatiable thirst for knowledge. In the next three or four years, he hopes to earn ten engineering degrees, a surprisingly bold and exciting mission.

With the unwavering support of his parents (a doctor for a mother and an engineer for a father), Nirbhay’s special case was approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).

Their parents are the embodiment of success in their respective fields.

This allowed him to be admitted to the Faculty of Engineering at SAL, where he continued his extraordinary mapping journey.

Nirbhay looks ahead and continues to be unwavering in his quest for knowledge.

A prestigious IIT school has already offered him a good offer for a PhD programme, along with money.

Its long-term goal is to showcase its undying dedication to promoting science and technology for the common good by establishing a state-of-the-art research center in India specifically for the defense industry.
