A Bengaluru scooter driver crashes into the car of an ISRO scientist

Aashish Lamba, the scientist, recalled the incident in a post uploaded to ‘X’, explaining that while he was on his way to the ISRO office, an individual on a scooter not wearing a helmet rushed in front of his car.

To avoid a collision, Aashish had to hit the brakes unexpectedly, causing the scooter driver to pull up in front of his car and unleash a tirade of verbal abuse.

@blrcitytraffic @CPBlr @BlrCityPolice Yesterday, while we were going to the ISRO office, near the newly built HAL underpass, a person on a scooter (KA03KM8826) without a helmet was driving recklessly and suddenly overtook our car, so we had to apply a sudden brake. pic.twitter.com/xwDyEy2peA

Aashish detailed what happened on August 29 near the newly built HAL underpass on Old Airport Road in Bengaluru, sharing video footage and stills taken from the car’s dash cam.

In a fit of rage, the scooter driver approached his car, scolded him and even stamped on his tyres. “Yesterday, while we were going to the ISRO office, near the newly constructed HAL underpass, a person on a scooter (KA03KM8826) without a helmet was driving recklessly and suddenly came in front of our car, due to which we had to brake sharply” he said in the caption. .

“He came to our car and started fighting,” he said in a later tweet. He kicked my car twice and it flew away. Please do what is necessary.”

The Bengaluru Police account was quick to reply, “We (will) inform the concerned police officer,” and even asked for Aashish’s contact information for further communications.

The Internet was angry about the incident.

Following this, social media users began to react to the incident, calling for stricter measures to be taken against this disorderly behavior. “Any updates on the arrest?” one user asked. “ISRO scientist is the victim. What parts are you giving to this uncivilized goon? Please make public the arrest of him.”

This has now become an everyday affair. Whatever he is doing to BrandBengaluru, I am afraid, it is not on the pleasant side.

A private instructor was recently arrested in Surat for allegedly posing as an ISRO scientist and giving media interviews in which he claimed to have built the lander for the Chandrayaan-3 lunar project.

Mitul Trivedi, the accused, used his fake name to recruit more students for his teaching sessions in Surat. According to PTI, he even went so far as to fabricate a fake appointment letter dated February 26, 2022, appointing him as “deputy chairman” of ISRO’s “Department of Application of Ancient Sciences” to back up his false claims.
