Rohit Bakshi was born on October 4, 1978 in Delhi, India. He began his acting career as a supporting actor in television shows. He rose to fame with the character of Vishal Mehra in Ekta Kapoor’s television series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Later, he played the lead role of Piyush Raheja in Balaji Telefilms’ daily soap Kahiin To Hoga alongside Aamna Shariff, Rajeev Khandelwal and Shabbir Ahluwalia. The other notable serials of him are Sindoor Tere Naam Ka, Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, Kumkum Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan and Siya Ke Ram. In 2015, he got the opportunity to play a double role in the super natural television series Maharakshak: Devi, aired on Zee TV.
