Samridhi Dewan was born in New Delhi, India, to a Hindu Punjabi family. Her mother’s name is Sonia Dewan. She has a younger brother Akhil Dewan in the family. She studied at the Convent of Jesus and Mary and later graduated from Miranda House (Delhi University) in Bachelor of Artist with English (Hons.). She later moved to Mumbai to pursue her dream of acting. Samridhi did a one-year course in performing arts at the Mumbai School of Drama.

Career
Samridhi started her acting career with Rabindranath Tagore’s television series Stories in the year 2015. She has worked in Dice Media’s series Not Fit as Sana. In 2017, she made her Bollywood debut with Lucknow Central, starring Farhan Akhtar. She played the role of Veera in Ranjit Tewari who directed this film.
Samridhi rose to fame playing the lead role of Pammi in Disney+ Hotstar’s web series The Office. She later appeared in Keep Punching as Kirnay. In 2021, she played an important role of Timsi in the web series starring Riddhi Dogra and Monica Dogra, The Married Woman. Samridhi got the opportunity to play the female lead role in Sony Liv’s web series Good Bad Girl in 2022. The series is based on a girl, Maya Ahuja, who finds ingenious ways to escape from difficult situations.
