Are you looking for the Samsung Galaxy M13 review? Samsung’s world of smartphones is as varied as its world of home appliances and solutions. It’s huge, and everyone can find something they like. In 2019, Samsung launched the M series, a low-cost lineup that is only available online. This was done so that everyone could find something they liked. As of 2022, the fourth generation of the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G looks just as good as the first, second and third generation. Samsung Galaxy M13 5G has all the features you need and is a great value. The device became available to everyone on July 23, 2022. Let’s see a detailed review of it.
Samsung Galaxy M13 5G review with full specifications
Design and build quality
Before we start, it’s important to remember that this is a very inexpensive device made for the most basic of users. Because of this, you won’t find any specs or features out of the ordinary. Instead, it’s a combination of average specs and performance to make it worth more than it costs. Now that that’s out of the way, let’s talk about what the device looks like and how well it’s made.
The Samsung Galaxy M13 5G is easy to understand in terms of its design. The frame and back are made of plastic, and the front is made of Gorilla Glass 3. It has all the usual ports and buttons. In addition to the two SIM card slots, there is also a port for a micro SDXC card. There is also a volume rocker and an on/off button. The power button is also a fingerprint scanner, as it was last year.
The screen
Photo: Collection
The PLS LCD panel is what the screen of the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G is made of. Now, PLS or LCD may seem dated by 2022 standards, but they are still the most popular choice for low-end devices. The screen is 6.5 inches and has HD + resolution, which is equivalent to about 270 ppi.
With specs like these, you might think the screen isn’t up to the task. But the price is so low that it’s hard to complain. Samsung is the market leader when it comes to display technology, and while the screen on the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G isn’t the best, it still stands out from the rest.
For an LCD panel, the screen can also get quite bright. It’s pretty easy to read outside. Users won’t have to squint in bright sunlight to see what’s going on.
Although this panel isn’t the best way to view media, it still gets the job done. In this price range, we don’t often see qualified glass protectors. Although it’s a couple of generations old, it’s nice to see rated protection.
The camera
More often than not, this price range has a lot of camera sensors. The main selling point is that it has a lot of lenses and a great battery. But it is strange that the rear of the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G only has two sensors.
The main sensor is a 50 MP f/1.8 wide-angle sensor, and the other is a 2 MP depth sensor which is more of a gimmick. We don’t know what the depth sensor does, but the main 50 MP sensor seems to do its job well.
The photos came out pretty good for being taken outdoors. The high contrast and bright colors made the images look clear and sharp. Most of the time, this is how Samsung post-processing works. But the problem starts inside and with lights that are not natural. Although the sensor is very good, the image quality is not that good because there is not enough processing power. Each time, the Samsung Galaxy’s night mode, which is basically a longer shutter speed, worked the same way. We didn’t notice any problems with too much or too little light.
The video is 1080P at 30 frames per second. Again, this is limited by the amount of processing power. The front camera is 5 MP. It is a very simple sensor that works very simply. The front camera pretty much sums up how well the camera works as a whole; It’s nothing special, but it’s not bad either.
Processor and performance
Since the beginning of the M series, Samsung has worked with MediaTek. Over the years, cheap chips have helped keep costs down. The MediaTek MT6833 Dimensity 700 processor in the fourth generation M13 5G is based on a 7Nm architecture. The octa-core processor has two Cortex-A76 chips running at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 chips running at 2.0 GHz. The GPU is Mali-G57 MC2.
The specifications show that the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G is for beginners and light use. This is by no means a heavy gaming device. It’s best for social media and web browsing, with occasional media use.
Although it’s not made for gaming, that doesn’t mean it can’t. You will be able to play games like Call of Duty and Genshin Impact on low settings, even though they are hard. After about 30 minutes of gameplay, the device starts to heat up and acceleration kicks in. But that’s what happens when you play on a simple computer.
One UI 4, which is based on Android 12, is already installed on the device. One UI used to be full of useless apps, but now it’s one of the best Android skins out there.

Battery and charging time
A 5000 mAh battery is built into the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G. The device lasts a long time because it has a large battery and a good processor. Users will be able to comfortably use the device for 9-10 hours of SoT. The large battery can also be charged quickly with 15 W. The device still needs around 2 hours to fully charge, so keep that in mind.
Verdict
The Samsung Galaxy M13 5G is a basic device that can do a lot of different things. Its main selling points are its appearance, the glass that protects it and the camera. The device also does a great job of optimizing, and even with a basic processor, the experience is smooth. The screen is the only thing that stands out as a problem. Other than that, the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G can be a great option for anyone who wants an affordable daily driver.
